Overview

Learn the basics of the CLASS instrument, domains and dimensions. This presentation is designed to help participants learn about effective teacher-child interactions, as defined by the CLASS tool, and the ways these interactions help children learn.

Objective

Participants will:
• See how teacher-child interactions impact children’s learning.
• Understand how the CLASS tool organizes these interactions.
• Practice identifying effective teaching practices in videos from real classrooms.
• Review uses of the CLASS tool.

2. A certificate for this course will be issued through Teachstone. You will need to accept the Teachstone invitation to “Intro to CLASS” training that will be sent to the email you used to register for this course.
3. The day before your training begins, you will receive an email from the course facilitator with information on how to access the course via zoom.
