Overview

In this course educators working with infants and toddlers will explore the value and importance of their role as educators and caretakers.  Educators will gain strategies to prioritize purposeful interactions with children, grow as professionals by reflecting on the value of their practices to facilitate learning for infants and toddlers.

Objective

Reflected on the importance of your role as an educator and explored strategies for building trusting relationships with infants and toddlers that support learning.

Discovered modes of communication to support infant and toddler development and relationship building with children.

Reviewed milestones in language development, identified where children in your classroom are currently and planned for new ways to support individual children.

Shared and explored strategies to facilitate learning and prolong engagement with infants and toddlers.
