Overview
This training provides you with insights, tools, and strategies to promote engagement in play, learning, and development for each young child. Objective
Objective 1: You will have heard what is meant by Full Participation & why it is important to New Mexico;  Objective 2: Discovered the concept of personal culture and how it impacts our work with children    Objective 3: Identified the benefits the 4 concepts of Full Participation: family engagement, inclusive practices, culture, language, and social relationships.  Objective 4: Recognized how the environment is impacted by using a strength-based approach to support each child and families’ full participation.  Objective 5: Explored 4 goals for creating an anti-bias learning community, and considered ways to uses these ideas while lesson planning.   Objective 6: Planned for children in the classroom based on the 4 concepts in FP
